Louisiana Key Academy
In January 2013, Louisiana Key Academy was formed to establish a primary, public charter school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, specializing in the education of children with dyslexia. It applied for a grant to help renovate the building to house the school. In June 2013, the Foundation awarded $50,000 toward a construction budget of $900,000. The renovations were completed, and school opened in August 2013.
In July 2014, the Foundation awarded another $50,000 toward a $577,000 budget for 2nd phase construction of additional space.
